Am brand new to the forum and have never owned an Audi. About to pull the trigger on one of those rascals. Any insights into what I should be looking for. TIA.

I just got back on the forum after 4 yrs so pretty much new as well. Just got the '18 S5 Sportback in Black earlier this year. No issues yet with mine, the only thing I noticed was the speaker grill trim is peeling on all four doors(covered as part of an IOU when I bought the car). Other than that, if you can, try to get one CPO'd so you don't worry about any issues. Love the car, one of my favorite Audi's besides the RS7 and R8 :-). Car is fast, looks good, and very practical in terms of trunk space(I can slide my road bike in the back without taking out the tire). Pull the trigger and enjoy the car. :-)

 

Yeah, I'm new to this forum also and I'm also looking at a 2018 or 2019 S5 Sportback.
Is there anything I should be on the look-out for?

 

I just pulled the trigger on one tonight. It's a 2018 S5 with only 11,000 miles on it and it was only $47999 CPO. Is there anything I should be aware of about the S5? I had originally looked at buying the S4, but this deal was too good to pass up. I have owned an A4, and an A7 in the past before this. My only concern about this car is the windshield since the way I drive, I'm bound to get the windshield chipped or worse. Frankly I'm very uninformed about the S5 since all my research had been on the S4. So any tips, tricks, or things to look out for on the S5 would be greatly appreciated.
