Mine should be here soon I hope. It is specifically a daily driver for me so the Tiptronic is fine for that intent.

I just wish it looked just a little more aggressive...

In my estimation, this car is a sporty luxury sedan, not a luxurious sports coupe. I think the consumer they are aiming for is one that will most likely enjoy long trips at higher speeds, so accelerating and shifting for maximum effect aren't as important as it would be with an A4/S4/RS4. Of course the S6/RS6 has plenty of accelerating power/torque it doesn't make the manual transmission a requirement. After all, an experienced triptronicdriver can do just as well asmanymanual transmission drivers.

Ultimately, the manual transmission drivers would be the minority and the cost vs. customersatisfaction probably doesn't add up for Audi to mass produce the manual.

Then again, there is that guy who did the S8 engine swap into his A6 and replaced the triptronic with a MT. That sounds like a fun mod.
