Default Audi S6 with MagnaFlow exhaust system

Hello all,

I would like to share a video that I made of the 2008 Audi S6 with a MagnaFlow exhaust system, with 2 out of the 4 resonators removed. I would like some feedback from the members of this great forum regarding the sound of the exhaust. You can find the video below:

You can also watch the video in high definition.

Hi there. Great car it sounds fantastic. I have got a 07 s6 as well, and I am planning on buying magna flow mufflers and custom making an exhaust. If possible, could you please send me details of the work you had done - pipe diameters, etc. I'd appreciate it. Thank you

Sure! I still have the link to the muffler on magnaflow's site, but apparently it directs me to a toyota exhaust setup. Unfortunately, I forgot the specs on the muffler as well. I'm somewhat sure the Inlet/Outlet was 2.5 or 3 inches, but you can double check with your local exhaust shop and measure it up. In regards to the setup in the video; remove the 2 last (larger) resonators, and replace the stock mufflers with the Magnaflow muffler, and weld the stock exhaust tips back on (or if you prefer a different set, than go for it).

Good luck!

Thank you adm538. I was particularly interested in the muffler that was used. Do you remember if it was an offset-offset same side like the stock one? I know magna flow uses a 14x5x8 muffler on their catback. Anyways, I appreciate your reply, I hope that monster of yours is alive and kicking. Take care.

I'd just like you to know that this exhaust note is the best sound I have ever heard in my life. Nuff said. I must have seen this vid 5 or 6 times before seeing it here, and I love it! It's my dream vehicle sound!
