except fot recording it, hat's a lot like what *I* do... Ask them questions, engage them in conversation! They have a computer that tracks not only the call, but how LONG the call takes, and whether or not they made a sale. Their time-per-call/sale-or-no-sale percentage plays a BIG part in their weekly/monthly bonuses, along with how many actual sales they make. KEEPING them on the phone throws off ALL of those numbers. The longer YOU keep them ON, the worse their percentages get!
