TDN...WTF are you talking about???? I am part of a legit testing group which has the toughest testing standards and *WE* prove what what works and what does not. You can believe stats on paper or people not proving what they are shooting at when they are shooting a car and not proving nothing. We shoot thru the HUD and addition provide a IR camera to prove if the jammer heads are firing (detecting) against the lidar gun. There is no other group in this field that does that and that plus other standard is what sets us apart from those mediocare testing groups that refuse to provide proof of the results. We at (laserjammerstests.com) will not approve jammer if it does not perform like the manufactor claims it does...Remember Blinder claims it jammer blocks or jam's 100% of police lidar guns on the street. That is a lie because nothing is 100% not even the laser star but it performed at the top and that is why its on my Audi. I see that this person called Sur Daddy who has 5 posts can come on here and spew crap but I have video of a real life save and our testing site shows that the laser star is not a scam but the real deal.

TDN....Since you think you are armchair expert on how lidar and jammers work now....prove to me that the laser does not work. I show proof on video....Its now your turn........

Well here is my answer to you...contact the laser star rep for the USA and buy like everyone else. As you know as you since your a *GOL Member* and the next shooter for the next Guys of Lidar tests. Laser Interceptor or anyotherjammer companyis not sending *Donations* and I know you are using is this as a cover to get a *Free Laser Star* in your had for testing is fine because it does work as *Advertised* because we tested it for over a 1 1/2 years time. Dont come off as some consumer *looking for a jammer* when you just want to test it because we all know that GOL does not prove which jammer is the best video but they just put the results on paper. People who dont know what GOL is all about tend to believe them but they have a agenda to promote and dis-prove what your buddy radar roy sell's. For example Radar Roy is selling the Escort ZR4 (same as the ZR3 but only the name changed) and it does not perform any better....Because I know this for a fact and I know about Radars Roy's latest test of the ZR4 and it got chewed up by the Stalker and it performed the same as the ZR3. There has been no *Offical* test of the ZR4 but Radar Roy says its the best....LOL. If the best is getting picked off at over 1,000 feet by a gun that the ZR4 is supposed to jam....then whoever buys that is in trouble if the stalker is used in their area. We will be testing the ZR4 very soon once the weather clears up and we prove everything we do...no one does it better then *laserjammertests.com*......and that means no one. Period.

Staton...your a complete idiot...I was wondering when your fellow GOL buddy was going have his little minions come here and ruin this board? Yeah I used to sell the laser deceptor big dealand it was the updated version of the laser mimic and it works...As you know your little buddy Happy A$$ has the laser mimic and he said it was the best LED based jammer and that is posted at radardetector.net. His little test was screwed up because he install was totally incrorrect because he does not know how to install a laser jammer. I have put the laser deceptor on very exensive cars and regular cars and they have not received any tickets. Just because something is on radardetector.net does not mean its gods word.

Surf Daddy...I know for a fact you were made a member of GOL and that would taint any testing you conduct because look at the past tester at the last GOL jammer testings....the shooter was a cop of a 1 horse town and he is friends with radar roy...after that 2007 GOL Jammer Tests he became the laser interceptor usa rep and he hyped it up along with the members of GOL. Oh, yeah ask Elvis (that former laser shooter at the GOL Tests) since he was fired and he is no longer the Laser Interceptor USA Rep because he stood up and spoke against all the bad customer service and shady things that was going on at laser interceptor. I predicted that C55 (Cliff) would become the new laser interceptor usa rep. months ago since Ivan (laser interceptor designer) came to florida to seal the deal. I warned elvis on the phone of this and he did not believe. I also know for a fact that the product that is tested at the GOL tests are bought unless they are donated like the prototyped LI that is nothing like the retail and current LI. Surf Daddy...why dont you talk about that scam?????

The run with the CLEAr on the display:
Page 13 of the manual says:
"Restoring the Default Configuration
When the instrument was shipped, options such
as the units and the brightness of the in-scope
display were already set for you. Those settings
constitute the factory default configuration. If you
find yourself unsure of the instrument’s
configuration, you can restore the factory default
and start fresh with known option settings.
To do that, power off. Then power back on and
keep the trigger pressed. While still holding
down the trigger, press and hold Backlight/Edit
Dn until the message CLEAr appears on the
display. That indicates that the factory default
configuration has been restored.

Having "CLEAr" in the display is not a primary function during targeting.
When in speed mode, you will get an error code or a reading.
"CLEAr" is not a displayed function of attempting to obtain a speed reading.

In other words, I'm starting to doubt the validity of the run recorded, which ends at the 1:22 mark.
