Getting definitive figures for fatalities and serious injuries is pretty much impossible. However, I visited Adenau police station in September 2002 to ask, and they reported Nordschleife 10 fatalities between January and September that year. Fabian, a bike marshall, is confident that Nurburgring GmbH gets to learn about all fatalities, and in the same period in 2005 there have been only two. That suggests somewhere in the three to twelve range in a full year.
