this is something i thought couldnt be done, an MD-82 pushs back from the gate using the thrust reversers.the FAA isnt gonn abe happy about this.

Actually, my dad flies airplanes, and said that this is legal and is done commonly at the San Diego Airport by American Airlines. Seems a bit risky to me, but I guess it saves them from having to rent out pushbacks.
