Ok, so I have a 96 a4. I am attempting to install a dei valet 712t and have started, but run into a dilemma that has caused me hours pain, I can't get the right wires for the lock and unlock functions. My a4 also doesn't have the stock keyless entry module in it that everyone else seems to have, it has a plain old stock lock control module (not keyless), which by comparing it to the pics of the audi keyless entry module, is a lot bigger and has a lot more wires going into it. I have everything hooked up but the lock and unlock wires (dome light, parking lights, ground, ignition, power, etc.). Can anyone help me out here? I just need to know which lock and unlock wires to use.

It would also be a bonus if anyone happened to know if I need to connect an alarm disarm cable, and if so, what to connect it to. Thanks.

 

you're going to need to get a hold of the wiring diagram or find someone that knows the wiring for that car.
