How much boost are you pushing right now? What other types of exhaust mods do you ahve done? All these will come into effect if its going to really help you or not.

I am pushing 20 to 21 holding psi on a new Dahlback chip. I have a Milltek cat back as well.

Yes then you will see a gain with the high flow cat(I dont know any numbers, but would say about 5-15hp), me personally I am saving up for the 42 draft designs downpipe for the 225. It seems like a good investment.

you will not see 5-15hp for a new cat. The stock unit already flows really well, and can be made into fit larger cat-backs and downpipes. Save your money.

just got an answer from APR on VWVortex, with their 10% off sale i can get a 3" 304 stainless downpipe with hi-flo cat to connect to the borla 2.5 catback already on my 01 TT 225Q about $1000 shipped, expensive, but it will never rust at all EVER!! i prolly am gonna get one, since i kept my last VW 10 yrs, 199xxx miles all the 304 stainless was still perfect!!! BYE tax return, i am stimulating the economy anyhow!!!

ebay makes a downpipe for the 225 for cheap. the fitment needs minor adjustment but so do most. it is real stainless steel too, some people tested it out and were very happy

reason why im not testing it out is cause i live in california. no turbo back for me
