fuse 14 tripping everyday
so yea, we had an issue where the overhead lights didn't work, windows wouldn't work and alarm wouldn't sound.
I searched the forum and found the fuse 14 fix. and yes it was blown. I replaced it and that fixes the issue, but now it seems to blow every 1-2 days...
anyone have any ideas?

The reason for fuses blowing is because the Amp rating is being exceeded therefore causing the metal filament to disconnect or "blow". A lot can be told by tracing the signal (voltages) pathway from where it originates to where it's going. My last TT had a control module that managed to get some water/condensation due to a failing seal on the convertible top. Long story short, two electrical pathways shorted together causing a similar problem. Good place to start.
it turns out that the fuse is blowing because of the issue we are having with the convertible top pump motor. the part is $1060 !! hopefully its just leaking or the bleed screw is loose. they have to remove the top to get to it so either way a lot of $$.
