where is fuel filter on 1.8t fwd

Default where is fuel filter on 1.8t fwd

Ihave no manual. I have also yet to look for it. Any tips on replacing it?

easy to get to??? how is it attached, hose clamps or banjo bolts?

its very easy to replace...if your behind the car its on the right hand side near the gas tank. you'll have to remove the plastic piece thats on the muffler i think. to gain access to it. also they are held in by push-type connectors. just push the tab and pull. be very carefull though not to brake the connectors they arent too easy to replace. the filter is held in by a hose type clamp like those found throughout the car. only tool you should need are a screw driver phillips
