Can anyone tell me if there is an easy way to initialise the remote key for my audi?

I'd rather avoid paying the dealer if it can be avoided.

 

There is a post on this... I bumped into it the other day when browsing the forum... It involves the key being in the ignition, and turned on then pressing the FOB's buttons. A search should locate it... i think it was like 4-5 PAGES of posts in from today.

had a look one link I found and it didn't work. It's a 97 2.8 30valve quattro if that makes any diffirence
