What's up,

I live an hour and a half south of Atlanta and can't find any reputable import mechanics (that I know of) to do the timing belt/water pump servicing. I want to get the job done right the first time since it's a pretty in-depth changeout. I guess I don't neccesarily need someone in Atlanta, I just thought that was the best place to start. I don't mind driving a ways to get it done (i.e. Florida/Alabama). Any suggestions or experiences would be helpful.

I'm live in Atlanta and have the same question. The dealers are quoting $1600 and for $300-350 in parts I think thats more than outrageous. I have found a few independent service locations and plan to check them out but would rather have someone that I can get references on. Any help is appreciated.

I am shopping for an A4. 2003-2004 I can not believe the cost of replacing the timing belt. What is the total cost for the 1.8T VS. the 3.0 At what mileage is this recommended? Thanks
