Default South Florida Boy needs some help.

So I am looking at purchasing my first Audi. Late model high millage 100k + probably C5 era and I need to know what to look for. I understand that the belts and seals can be a problem. Are there any other things I need to watch for when picking one out? I am in West Palm beach Florida I am curious about a good mechanic in the area that can run a check on a vehicle? Found a listing on crags list claims to be the cats MEOW.

Anyone know anything about this mechanic? That said what I really need to know about, is what to look for, I am mostly looking at A6’s but if another model is a better for being a good running car in the above 100k mile range I am interested. There is also one with some left front fender damage. Any tips on how to assess if it has frame or suspension problems? I could give a crap less about the paint or dents but It has to be in sound mechanical condition. This car is going to be a daily in-between the sale of my current car and a move to another state. I am going to have to be able to turn it quickly and don’t just want to stick someone with a bad car. I also don’t want to plough money into it. Any advice is welcome. Even, the you shouldn’t be a Audi owner shiz is part of it.
