I just wanted to let anyone from Albuquerque, NM know that there is usually a car meet every Friday. It is usually always in the back (East) parking lot of the Uptown Shopping Center. It was started by a bunch of guys from VW Vortex, so there are a lot of VW, few Audi, and a few other Euros. If you ever want to roll by feel free.

 

That sounds pretty cool. Am down here in Albuquerque doing research for a while. Did you ever do the timing belt on your 12V RIP yourself? Looking to do mine so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
