The plan is to first fix what is broken. I've done the Tbelt, water pump, thermostat, belts, oil pump oil seal and replaced the coolant this weekend . It was fun. A lot easier than what I had expected.

Next, is to do the front suspension, right CV joint boot and tie rods. Replace the transmission fluid completely, re-tint the windows, fix the right side driver speakers that are not working and with some luck, send out the instrument cluster to have the LCD fixed.

Upgrades are going to be small. GIAC chip and DV. I just want a little bit more power.

It has the sport package so I'm not going to invest in rims.

The rest is cosmetics. Broken armrest cover. Maybe polish the shifter cover. It looks like it was hit by small astroids. I want to remove the scratches. Some other minor cosmetic things.

Yes. I took the plunge and decided to do it myself. After taking everything apart I found that at one point the timing belt was replaced. The problem is I had no idea when so I decided to go ahead and replace everything. The funny thing is that I was afraid to do it on my 4 cyl Mazda pickup.

I plan to do the rest myself and just take it in for an alignment.

I have a 99.5 1.8T FWD with tiptronic.
