last night after the movie me and the gf hit mc'ds for some grub and jump on I-5 south and rolled up to a black 07 sti, couple younger fellas in it, i looked at gf and said lets play so i teased him a little he got the jump from 70 mph but i quickly pulled hit before 100 and he really didnt seem to gain much after that but i was very suprised at how well the audi made the sti look so slow beings the sti was a stick and has like 80 hp on our audi, well after about110 the audi just seemed to strech it legs and really put it down had almost 5 cars by 135mph, gf was smiling likefat kid in a candy store lol dont worry we were safe about it four lane interstate with no traffici would have not done it if it were busy and conjusted

 

um .... so you have a k04 in there right, cause i have raced those new sti's with my 2+ and they keep up nicly about a car and half back

 

You had better have a chip , full exhaust , FMIC with upper/lower piping, boost controller, Bigger turbo, if you even want to be close to an 07 STI. Or you're FOS.

i think it was a fake STI... just a rebadged wrx - all too common these days

When you pulled up to this STI, are you sure someone was in it......or was it just parked?

Im interested in what mods you have. To run with an STI you would have to be heavily modified...i mean for a TT s4 to run an STI it would needsome work under the hood.

 

yeah, stock the sti will beat a stock s4 now chiped it is close but s4 is 2+ and it is all over for the sti.
