So i pull up behind this 05 mustang with a body kit on it, duel exhuast, debadged and DiabloSport tuner stickers all over it (because stickers add horsepower but no torque). We were both turning left to get onto a two lane road. I wasn't going to try anything. One because i thought it was a gt and two the ball and chain was with me. So the light turns green. The mustang gets into the left lane and i get in the right. Then he is just waiting for me. I am like awwww s***, i am going to get spanked if i do this. What the hell pulled with anyone since i put the exhuast on. So i get up next to him. Looked like two kids in the car that took their dads ride. He revs his engine. (we doing about 25) I honk 3 times (hoping he know what that means) I take off, and so does he. I just pulled away, up to 75 had about 3-4 cars on him. That was the only run we had, just too much traffic. But it was only the V6 off course (i could see were the horse badge was suppose to be on the side i guess he never buffed it out) We gave eachother the thumbs up and the wife told me to stop a petsmart.

nice i got an 01 1.8T too and i dont like mustangs ha. way to get one for the team!

 

nice kill.. lol not really worth your gas if it isnt the gt tho ahha, is it weird that i beat the older.. maybe 95 mustang gt in my car, it was auto and convertable but i beat it... hmmm lol

 

I thought it was a GT at first but when we got on it, i knew it was not. He gave up once he knew i was pulling away. I was like dude i have 3 more gears to go though you might catch up. lol

 

The new v6 mustangs run low 15s stock. They will take a close to stock a4 w/ not too much trouble.
