Silly question, is your A4 really putting out 400hp?
Closer to 450 than 400. My best dyno on 18psi was 334 to all four wheels. Now that the motor is broken in I run it at 30 psi. I should be able to hit 350 to all four wheels (467 CHP)

This is what 440 hp can do to all four wheels

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, I must ask: Why would toff's mr2 time be faster with 100-150 less horsepower than yours?

It's a lot lighter.

A4 ~3400 lbs
MR2 ~2800 lbs

My car weighs in at 3700 pounds wet with driver...it takes 330 whp to move it 1320 feet in 13.0 seconds. The quattro drivetrain has a 25 percent loss due to the frictional rotation of the front, center and rear differentials. Thus I must make 440CHP to break into the 12s. (330/.75=440)

I live in Roseville which is northeast of Sacramento. You are welcome to come out to test and tune on Friday the 19th, I will be making full boost (32 psi) QM passes at Sac Raceway. I should be solidly into the 12s

I would love to come see you make a few passes and listen to that A4 scream. I will be in tahoe from 18 thru 21. Please post again when you head out to sac raceway. I used to ride out there all the time. Ill bring my camcorder and digicam. How much does a passenger effect your time? (hint hint wink wink)

I'll PM you when I go. If you show up early, you can ride on the first pass. After that no passengers will be allowed (passengers are not allowed if you run 13.99 or faster)

A lot lighter, and nowhere near the transmission losses. Thats why the time for the Audi is so impressive. Heavier car, with awd. Any chance of a ride in the boot for the second run?
