What advantage is gearing???

The advantage in gearing is staying at peak horsepower. You ever think about why there is a .5 second difference between a2002 nissan maxima 6 speed and a maxima 4 speed auto in the 0-60 mph, look it up. Its not rocket science, well to you it might be. But I guess thats why people line them up race. If eveyone just looked at numbers there would be no need for racing in any form. But whatever you can believe what you want.

Wow, way to go n00b. Do you think staying at peak horsepower is gonna matter when the car is making 65~hp less to the wheels than the other??? And you're crazy if you think there's a half second difference in 0-60 times between auto and manual '02 Maxima's. Maybe a .2 difference. Go do some research before you try and call me out. I've probably forgotten more about cars than you know. Quit magazine racing, and get your facts straight...

No prob. I'm not a big fan of the cars, well, FWD cars in general, but I give them props. They're def not a car to sleep on....

Yeah, seems that way. The only reason I had a problem with them is because of the FWD, but it seems they dont do too awful bad. But thank god for the new G8, just like that, but RWD hehe.
