So my dad's buddy has an Srt 8 300C and is talking a bunch of **** saying nothing can keep up with his car and that he will kill me with his 400hp V8. I know i gotta race him to find out but right now I have my car chipped (giac),stock exhaust,I got an upgraded suspension (h & r coilovers and sport springs), an ASP bipipe, s flo intake and Baileys DV. My car weights 3700lbs his is 4100lbs... am I gonna make an *** out of myself or should i start talking **** back?

Oh whoa, I just saw we're talking about an S4 rather than an A4.

The outcome would still be the same, IMHO, but obviously much closer. I believe a Stg1+ S4 is in the ballpark of 220-250whp, give or take. I'm still betting the SRT walks you like it's its job, but the beating would be much less than in an A4.

 

Well I think with all the work done to my car is supposed to be close to around 310hp now but i've never dynoed it to be sure.

 

A stg I+ s4 makes ~250whp. I used to have a gtrs turbo kit that made~270whp in my a4, and I raced a friends srt 8 and we were very close through second and third.....I may have even edged him out. But, if we had got into 4th, he wouldhave pulled me,due to the close gear ratios on the quattro setup. I believehe would take you, but it would be somewhat close.....only loseby maybe 3-4 cars over two gears.

this might demoralize him and he could shut down ...who knows or race im up high and let his stalk govener kick in lmao

 

Take out your spare tire, back seats... and make sure your gas tank is around 1/4th full.... Look for all the advantages you can. I would also invest in a testpipe cause thats a straight 15hp right there for fairly cheap, helps out your stock exhaust situation. Do that and you definitly won't embarrass yourself but I can't imagine you taking the win.

My cousin has the 07 Charger SRT8 and the thing is a monster...We've never raced, but we've did a few quick spurts here and there, and my car holds up very very well... (2.7T)

 

Loosing 100hp from the crank to the wheels is some seriously wishful thinking my friend. Don't bet on it. Even when you lose the race, you might bring his head out of the clouds a little since he will not destroy you. Then ask if he would like to try you on a roadcourse. Advantage Audi.
