Since it's not an X, perhaps you can get his tires to break free on the launch. Sometimes it's how I get Mustangs, etc. Got my friend's 2001 330ci convertible that way too. I guess it depends how far you go on the top-end too. Also, if it's brand new - make him beat the crap out of it during the break-in - that alone might be worth it.

You got way more toque than that little piggie does but he weighs a decent ammount less i would think, since your car is bigger and has quattro. just race him with only a quarter tank and no spare/jack. gas is like 10lbs a gallon, and tire/jack can weigh close to 50lbs i think, i bet you could save 200lbs by running close to empty and takin out spare. does the 335 has launch control?

Nope-

the 335i has 300lb-ft stock

the A6 has 258lb-ft stock

With his 93 tune, he may be equal, possibly even a little more, but def not way more. But you're right about the Bimmer being quite a bit lighter.....

I'm pretty sure 2.7t's put out about 380 crank torque with chip and 93 oct. keep in mind that the 250hp/258ft/lbs is not anything near what the 2.7 can do with stock mechanics, the euro one was 265/290 stock i think. But either way, thats a fast bimmer

True. only way to find out. We'll run one of thesedays.

APR.com says that with their 93octane chip I am supposed to be running 318hp and 382lb-tq.
