The guy I just bought my wheels from has a 200* A6 and he said it was a 2.8. After I left he ended up next to me at a light and he said he wanted to race. He has an auto, when we took off I instantly started pulling and by the end of 2nd I was a car and a half ahead. We only went to 70 but I thought his car should have been faster. Is it the same 30v that is in my car?

 

im pretty sure it is but also remember that the A6 is bigger and heavier than the A4

 

I thought the newer model might have more hp or different gearing.

 

Same engine in aheavier car; sounds right to me.........[8D]

 

Ok, I though it might have been a better performing 2.8 thean in the A4, makes sense now.
