Chipped 2004 A4 w/ exhaust vs 2007 Porsche Cayman
What are your thoughts on this? My neighbor just picked up his 2007 Porsche Cayman (not an S), and of course he wants to run with my car. I know a Cayman S would eat me alive, but a non-S should be close, no? He's lighter, HP is about the same and I've got quite a bit more torque......also, I would say we're fairly equal drivers and both cars are stick. I have quattro and he does not.

He's gonna eat your lunch. Even the non-S Caymans are no slouch. Way lighter than you, less drivetrain-loss, more aerodynamic, better gearing, etc. Def don't do a highway run.......

hey speaking of snow.....I'm looking for snow tires. Any ideas? my current tire size is 235/40/18.
Had Blizzaks on my Benz, but do I need those with quattro??? will a nice all-season do? Just don't feel like dropping $800-900 on snow tires

Don't think they make aWinterforce that will fit my 18's.....I see they make a 225/60-18 but I don't know if that will work......may rub in the wheel well, no?

In all honesty, I ran straight-up high performance summer tires the entire winter last year. I live in North Dakota and we get plenty of snow and ice, trust me. You should be fine w/ some good all-seasons.......
