Default Chipped B6 vs Pontiac Vibe vs Mustang 4.0L V6

Hey gang.....Happy Belated Thanksgiving.
So I was back up in my hometown of Massachusetts over the holiday, and I visited this one area that was a frequent drag strip when I was a kid...Rt 33 in Chicopee if anyone is familiar. You'll see a ton of mustangs but other than that nothing too exciting. Anyway this Pontiac Vibe was egging me on to run with him, I didn't want to bite since I didn't feel it was worth the trouble....but I gave in due to his persistance......we took off from 30mph, and I let off at about 70.....since he was a good 6 or 7 cars back of me.......i let him pass me and he just waved and kept on going, seemed like a nice enough guy. During this I caught the attention of a Mustang, and he pulled up next to me at a red light.....he asked me if I had an S4, I said no....told him it was a 1.8T.....he said no way!!!! I said yeah, but I have a couple of mods. He wanted to race and I thought he was a GT, but he said no just a V6. Anyway we ran the first time from about 20 mph up to 80 and he only had me by about 1/2 car (does that seem right?)......we came up to the next light and ran from a dig and I destroyed him by like 3 cars (1/4 mile).....in his defense the roads were wet....not raining or snowing, just wet.
He gave me a thumbs up and turned off......all in all a very fun few minutes.........

Thats terrible if your a chipped 2.0 against a rustang in the wet. the new V-6s are quick but not that quick especially in the wet, unless he was modded.

If the roads had been dry, there's a very good chance you would have lost that race.........

The new V-6s run 7.0 0-60. They are no joke like the old v-6s. As i said if it were truely wet or slick you shoulda won. If it was dry and he had stick u lose. If it was dry and he had auto you still lose.lol Never mind ur chipped you shoulda raped him if he had auto and it woulda been close if he was stick.

the new v6's claim 214/240..... so that should get them under the 7.0 range. I have a apr 1.8 and i ran high 6 0-60 on astock clutch with 3 people inside... the traction control on the mustangs even if it was slick should of helped him keep it straight... read posts fully before you start posting, like saying you are a 2.0, and you are chipped you should of raped him

Thats why i corrected myself. The new V-6 mustand is not doin much under 7 seconds 0-60 stock, def not in the wet unless you got some super sticky tires on it. I would also like to see a time slip of a 0-60 in the 6s for your chipped 1.8t with a total of 4 people in it. 3 cars isn't exactly far if you leave in the stupid factor that stick has in terms of where and when to shift and how u do it. I'm in the NYC street racing scene, and for a special olympics race that would have been very close with 2 competent drivers.
