so i had to go the the dealer this morning to get a new cluster put in. came back going south on 41 and see this new volvo s70 w/a kit and dropped. he was kinda far in front of me but swirving through traffic on the highway like crazy. i caught up with him and drove by to check it out. DAMN!!! that thing looked good! then he sped up so i kept up with him then passed him just driving normal. next thing i know he's tailgating me. so i punch it. we're going speeds of 100-135mph on the highway cutting through traffic. i'm ahead by 2-3 cars. kept going for a mile or two, he didn't seem to catch up so i stop. he comes up next to me and nods his head then goes behind me again. so i'm guessing i won that one.

i get off my exit and he follows. we stop at a light and he's behind me so this time i know he wants more so i slap the shifter over to manual and right when the light turn green i floored it. i could here his tires peel behind me. he started coming up next to me; but at the top end i pulled ahead. went through two slight turns going 70+ mph and he was still behind me. when we hit the straight and i pulled ahead. i was probably a good 4-6 cars ahead. i hit my hazards when i saw he couldn't keep up any more and slowed down. he drove by waved and went on his way.

i never thought racing my audi would be as much fun as my tib but i had way more of a rush and high speeds are so much easier to get to with it. now i need to start modding it.

 

Good job on the kill, but dude...weaving through traffic at speeds in excess of 100mph is just not smart at all. You are not only endangering your life, but also the lives of innocent people. If you want to race on the street, at least do it when there aren't any other people around. How would you feel if you ended up killing someone? Try to be a little smarter and more considerate.
