Audis were not meant to be super fast, but more sporty with some quickness. But with a few mods they can be very competative on the street. As far as there being more cars that can beat an Audi is because there are fewer Audis than other cars. Put a **** load of modded TTs and even R8s and even a couple other like the twin turbo RS4 and things would be different. But thats what makes an Audi unique, not many people have them. Hondas and Zs are a dime a dozen and dont have the appeal of an Audi. If a lady was to pick her man by the ride he had Audi would win out most of the time over Hondas and Zs. I have a 08 TT with just a chip and do pretty damn well against GTs and riced out Hondas, still waiting for a new Z to come by the race. Add a couple of good mods to the new TT or the TTS coming out to get it 290 whp and it would rape the modded Zs. Im sure dollar for dollar on mods and the Audi would win.
Also I think that year S4 should be 0 60 in 4.9 and the Z like 5.4 or so. So if the Z won then I would think the Z had more mods thean the S4.

Not to be a d!ck............... but if you want any respect in this forum; do us all a favor, and drop the magazine-sourced 0-60 times, ricer math,and opinionated views on cars.
Seriously, 350Z's are a dime-a-dozen???? Maybe in LA and big metropolitan areas where Audis are on every corner, too. And as far as a 290whp TT raping modded Z's; only if the Z is still NA. ANY forced-induction Z would completely murder a 290whp TT. Bad. Even a full bolt-on Z would prolly be a driver's race. And a stock 350Z and a stock B6 S4 is a driver's race w/ the edge to the Audi.

there's still nocontest in the end no matter how much mods either car has. there's no replacement for displacement.
but then again... how would a BT Evo do against a boosted Z?

Yeah, I see what you're saying. I just meant that comparing an FI 4-cyl to a NA 6-cyl isn't realistic. And as I said, a Z w/ full bolt-ons and a tune, would prolly still take a 290whp TT. Sometimes people just use REALLY stupid and fuzzy analogies.
I'm not sure what you mean by BT Evo???? Is that some tuner's car or something??? I don't know, but forced-induction on the VQ-series turns them into a beast.

And as far as which car is the fastest, who cares? There is always another audi or honda or mitsubishi or ford or chevy..etc that is going to be faster. Why not just compliment each other on the win instead of arguing? It would be so much easier that way.
Oh, but Audi's really are the best........
