So last night I see a Mercedes.. didn't think it was anything special at first because it was dark outside. We both pulled up to a red and I was staring at the old guy in his V8 kompressor.. Light turned green and the first second I didn't step on it till I heard him step on it..

We both took off and I pulled ahead by a car length up to 100.. but I was supprised he did actually keep up with me. I was turning at the next light so I pulled off. When I hit 100 and pulled off he was probably 6-7 feet behind me, so it was a decent race.. but his AMG wasn't enough for the RS.

I have been waiting to race an AMG for a long time, so it was good to see how the RS compares to it's main rival..
All in all for the E55 the supercharger sounds sick and is pretty damn quick.. I guess if you want cheap speed (30Gs) and to look like an old guy get the Merc.

I sort of know where the guy lives so I'm going to try and see if he wants to run em again.. I think if I can race him from a dig again Ill ****** rape him with AWD takeoff.. But we'll see.
Anyone else raced a 55 AMG before?

 

E55 AMGs are one of the few Benz-os that I actually like.

Glad your race went well, though. I'm guessing he was stock(??).

awesome story, sounds like fun.

but you know what makes me really depressed. this kid that goes to another local high school just got an brand new rs6 for his first car. wow, are you serious, thats just bad parenting. but his dad did invent the power bar.....

 

You can actually find some good deals on RS6's.. but they will have a lot of miles.. 70k+.

I bet the kid will get a ticket or two and learn his lesson. A stock RS6 is the perfect higher HP car to start with because it's so smooth and controllable.

I would hope you are running 12s......considering an E55 runs low to mid 12s stock

 

At a mile high cars run slower too..
