Default New mustang 4.0 and my poor audi

today on my way back home my friend and i met up and we decide to race knowing very well that i was not going to win

he has a new 2006 mustang 4.0 v6 manual-all stock
and i have a very early 99 a4 1.8T quattro tip with evoms intake that does nothing and an apr chip (91)

we were at a 34-35 ish roll and from the start i actually kept up with him, for about 4 seconds.
then he started to pull away pretty fast

well thats my story

if anybody has anyother stories with mustangs, i would be glad to hear them

I beat a late 90's V6 in my good ol' Pontiac Sunfire from a stop(thank god i've seen the the light of 4 rings!). It was very close, but a win.

I had a v6 mustang rev me at a stoplight while I was driving my maverick, so I put in neutral and reved him back and he waved his hands in the air like "no-way"

Why would you not opt for the extra 2 cylinders when buying a Mustang?

Yeah, I never understood the logic in the V6 when you could have more car with the V8 (domestic). But, to each his own. I guess MPG plays a decision making role these days, but either way you slice it..the stangs are UGLY inside. Ever sit in one? Its like being in-cased in plastic and everything rattles. No Thanks..You can make anything have power with an exhaust and a turbo/supercharger. I like the old ones (68,69) but that's it. I owned a 98 Cobra and yeah..it was fast, but solid rear axle and a short wheel base = handles like ****. Good for straight and thats it. I got bored an bought my first AUDI (a4)..Plus..the mustang get togethers were lame. AUDI's are so much more fun to drive.

I raced many stangs but the best beat down was a Bullit mustang, he gave me a good run but I ended up about 1/2 a car ahead of him. I really dont think he knew how to launch. We ran to 120, it was a fun kill.

modshack stage 3 is called the boost machine,
This is a very sophisticated pneumatic controller that has the ability to increase boost, set boost onset, eliminate spiking common to N75 controlled systems, and improve boost delivery and general operational smoothness.
