San Diego. It is not just me, it is our Southern Cal culture. Most people are cool about it, no anger, flipping fingers and all that crap. It is all about having fun. Why have an S4 if I am going to drive it as an A4? But it is nothing crazy, if traffic is heavy, people don't do it. I have never been in a sticky situation due to racing. lol thats cuz you live in mass like me cop are pretty strict bout that **** and its hard to find a place to safely "race" someone. Not to mention all the back roads are littered with potholes.

i think me and my friend hold the record for that. we had the speedometer pegged going from lancaster to Santa Clarita on the 5 freeway, we were going at least 120.

 

I just picked up a 02 A6 with the 2.7. with the 6 speed. I raced my buddy with a 98 M3, Auto and crushed him. Dead stop all the way to about 100. Seriously crushed him though, it was embarassing. I was proud of my beast. It seems way too heavy to eat quick cars like that. I can't wait to throw some mods in 'er!

Sidenote, I used to own a 97 Camaro that was pushin 400 hp after major engine work. My most fun race was on a 3 lane highway in WI in the middle of the day with the top down against 2 crotch rockets. We buzzed along at 160+ for 20 minutes. Sure made it home quick that trip!!!
