dont knock the new GT's, they have stiffened the chassis over 120% and have done wonders to the suspension. now the previouse body style would have trouble keeping up with a mini van in the turns. GT's arent that fast mid 14s stock I believe so nothing special at all.

i think the s4 is beautiful, maybe compromise about wheels, i the stock wheels chromed on my a4 and i love it....

u still have stock turbo's? and piggy downpipes....they cost more than the turbos and only give 8hp...
Correction, piggies can be completely free if you know what you are doing and DIY, or you can get them from www.vastperformance.com for $600 and you get $200 back when you ship them your stock DPs. Turbos are much more expensive.

another post you said you had 300whp and you couldn't take a mustang. no offense but if it only had an exhuast and "something else" most likely gears you should have taken him easy. that sucks though. 3 gear @ 50. no maybe at 60-65mph. you should of downshifted to 2nd.

Those chrome rims are SICKKKKK
but I do agree with the fact that an S4 would look even better with those other rims. Nice rims though.

First off, you are right I probably could have downshifted, but it wouldn't have made that much of a difference. And I came to find out my studdering problem was due to a quarter sized rock hole in my smic. And it you look at the dates on the two posts. I had probably 220whp when I raced the gt, bc I didn't have my fmic, my 3" inlet pipe and I was only running 14 psi.

And a correction on the piggy pipes, I'm sorry I thought you meant you got the upgraded manifolds, which are outrageously expensive for almost a non noticeable gain.

Im sorry, I meant look at how long ago I raced him and how long ago I dynoed the car as far as the dates go.

yeah that's cool. at least you have the plenty of power now the take one now. if you car didn't have problems when you raced him you would have taken him easy. I have taken many mustang gt's (not 05+) w/ full exhuasts and intakes when i only had it chip and some little extras. installing the inlet pipe, test pipe and FMIC this weekend, then off to awe to get dyno'd again. o-yeah...
