So im at a four way intersection i see this guy fly through.... a couple seconds later i get green and make a left and catch up to him. so we go (i follow... 2 lane road) for about 10 miles and then finally onto a highway. so we are on a strip that runs through a town with a few lights. i slow up to try to get a red but nothin... i look over and the dude is givin me this look like what are u doing but he was trying to do the same thing so it seemed. eventually he turned off and gave me the finger.... whats the deal here? i was trying to get a nice lil roll going but did i do something wrong. my main question is how do i tell him i wanna race?



KILL STORY: i was leaving my buddys house (98 328i) and he was on his way to his girls house and i was like well alright lets go down 842 and u can put ur 4 ways on when u wanna hit it.... so we are cruising along and stupid him starts the race at the curving part... so his lil rear jig had to slow down and i blew by him with my quattro by the 3rd curve.... then we get a straight away i let him in front and then take him and 3 other cars at about 110

yeah, if he wanted to race, he would have slowed down for you to catch up or vice versa, you just gotta let it happen, but please don't go out of your way to race
