Oh yeah forgot to write down what they have--
b5= chip, ko4, tb exhaust no cats dv
gti= chip, intake, tb exhaust, no cats, dv, ko3

was that the gti breaking traction mid gear....if so i'm thinking he's got more than a chip. that and the dood in the audi didn't even use his awd...c'mon...launch the damn thang

what is the fuss about. A chipped gti is well into the 14s, whereas a chipped w/ intake, downpipe, exhaust a4 is barely into low 15s.

hey quattrosedan, but you forgot the a4 also has a k04 upgrade.

Comparing those two cars is like comparing them stock. GTI is lighter, therefore GTI is faster/quicker. The End.

Some of the VW's are very fast.... my 93 VR6 Corrado breaks them in third no problem...and it's very light weight

wieght is not the only thing helping the GTI. it is drive train loss... the GTI has 10% less than a quattro car. less drivetrain loss + less weight = killing quattro with more power. it is simple Physics.

my 98 1.8 FWD was only chipped and i was running 15.3's. If i had intake and full exhaust i bet i would be breaking the 15.0 line.

but those new 2.0t chipped are quick.
