1998 A6 170K - suspension worn?
Hi, I just bought a '98 A6 with 170K miles on it. I think the suspension is a little wobbly but I'm not sure if this is normal.
There just seems to be a lot of unnecessary movement - body roll etc. when driving. Is that normal for an Audi? The steering is perfect, dead straight and pin sharp. And the suspension definitely works - I push the car down, it comes back up and stops - it all just seems a bit too soft. Does it sound like something is wrong?

With that king of mileage your shocks are most likely dead!
A new set f Bilsteins will set you back around $432.00. I just ordered my kit this week from Groton, 10% off and free shpping! I will do most of the installation myself.
