Default b7 a4 lowering springs on a b6 s4??

just got a set of free weitec typ f 2" lowering springs from a friend that used to own a b7 a4.

i was wondering if these would work on my b6 S4.

i know that b6/b7 s4's share the same springs, i just wasnt sure if a set of a4 springs would be suitable for the v8 or not.

input would be great before i go into the install this weekend.

thanks in advance

They will physically fit, but since the S4 front end is sooo much heavier than the A4, you'll have a massive forward rake. So much so that you'll likely bottom out the front end regularly. I wouldn't at all suggest it.
