Default H&R Lowering springs

I have a 2007 A4 FWD and purchased a set of H&R springs, the mechanic wants 475$ to install but says i may have issues with ball joints and that he may not be able to do allignment. Can anyone confirm this? i bought a set of 19in VMR V708 also. From what i have read here i should be ok, but just want to make sure. Thanks in advance.

you shouldnt have any ball joint problems. he may be saying lowering springs may add more stress to the system which to a point they do because they are stiffer but not anything radical.

with the alignment alot of the time the camber wont adjust enough to be perfect after the car is lowered which i ran into with my 98 a4 but it isnt enough to hurt anything and if you are worried about it i think you can get aftermarket camber bolts to help with that.
