Yes you CAN replace just the springs. For a 2-3 hours labor ($200-$300 in a shop) and a 4-wheel alignment ($100). You have a 9-year old car.You SHOULD replace the rubber spring mounts (to avoid squeaking suspension syndrome) and the parts are cheap - about $20 each..

You SHOULD also consider replacing the shocks with either Koni or Bilstein Sport shocks thatare shorter to accomodate the lowered springs. Otherwise, the stock shocks are 1) offset in their travel using up most of their compression travel; 2) offset in their damping setup and can't possibly handle optimally, and 3) your stock shocks are probably about gone anyway. If not they will be in a couple months of trying to damp a stiffer lowering spring and bottoming out on bumps.

A lot of folks who complain about bad ride with lowering springs are experiencing this. Shocks and springs are a tuned system, and just replacingjust shocks or springsupsets the tuning unless they are designed to work together.

Consider a matched kit from Eibach, H&R, KW or Vogtland. You'll be much happier and in the end will have spent less time and money on labor and phone calls complaining.

Yeah definitly buy new struts/shocks your going to have a bumpy ride if you just put the springs on your old struts they're probaly shot after about 60,000 anyways. Its going to cost you $150-$300 just to put the springs on and another $100 for alingnment. You don't want to pay for that twice your car will be setup the right way and ride great .You'll get a better deal if you buy every thing together try www.awetuning.com or www.purems.com to see some of the packages.
