Default Suspension help please

Can anyone suggest where I may get some new suspension for car, its a 98 a4 quattro avant and I'm looking at refreshing the old with new, i've seen the stuff on ebay and to be honest I have no idea what I need, most of the stuff it seems is either for newer models or not for quattro, if the new stuff I end up getting drops the height slightly all good and well but its not a must, just wondering if anyone can link me thru some details or suggest somewhere to call...many thanks

2Bennett Audimotive in Davis California. Here is the link. http://www.2bennett.com/ They tune and race only Audi's so they know what our cars want. They wind their own springs and sell Koni shocks set up for our cars. I just had them install their coil over set up, having removed Johan Abt springs and Bilstein struts from my Audi 90. Nice and firm but no freeway hop. Much better than what I took off. Highly recommended.

my buddy has an 01 avant, and we ran into some trouble last weekend changing the shocks. I think he bought monroe's replacement shock, but the lower mount insode diameter was too small. the stock shock measured 2" and the replacement 1.5". Anyone have any suggestions on a shock that will work??

Of course you can follow several of the suggestions for sources listed w/in this thread.

I am not sure of the OEM's and other suppliers quality. I have also been searching and have found several brands w/about the same price point . Becks, Boge (OEM front turbo gas pair $225) and Bilstein (front/rear FWD only 4 units $440) are a few. Source: MJM Autohaus USA

Hope this helps.
