Using VAGcom adaptation to change O2 sensor value
A technical question here... Is it possible to change Adaptation value on Vagcom to change the O2 sensor threshold? As an example, many of us have the P0431 and P0421 code due to the older ECU software. The dealer flashes the ECU and it goes away.
So in theory, the car should note O2 sensor readings and determines whether the threshold has been reached or not. So I wonder if there are adaptation values on VAGcom which can lower or raise the threshold values. Any inputs? Especially auditech79?
