(h/W is it brief for "hardware"?) From what I read, you refer to the 805 version that works only with a dongle, am I assuming correctly?

I replaced the "Labels" folder with the one in 805 and doesn't change anything.
It looks like no matter what you do or what version it is used, you have to license/register it in order to reset the service reminders...
Would you guys agree, or someone actually can prove that wrong?

So for a C4, besides reading the DTCs (limited modules) and probably coding of those 3 modules covered in the Audizine write-up, (belt chime, etc) the shareware version is worthless. I wish I could be wrong.

chefro: I don't know about you, but i have to try a good 5-10 times before getting it to notice that i am using a 'registered' version using the method that i posted. I leave the command windows up (so i stack up like 5-10 of them all doing my bidding) and eventually it goes through. The problem is because of the timing of when it checks for it and when it copies them; i haven't bothered changing the timeout (which is set to 1sec), but that probably would help reduce the number of tries required.
Being that you can connect to your car, then you just have to try to get the program to work. Also note that you should run the .bat as administer because you are replacing files in program files. I'm confident that it should work because there just isn't any reason why it shouldn't. My friend's '98 A4 won't connect at all (he can look at one module), so at least you don't have his problem. So again: i get the message that says "...Requires VAG-COM to be Registered..." all the time, i just have to be persistent with the program (it's most definitely not perfect) and load it a bunch of times.
xewax: i don't think you can do that
