I have a 2001 with a 1.8t engine.

check engine light comes on, with a p0420 error code. (bank 1 under efficiency).

I ran vagcom and got this screen and its freaking me out. Maybe its because my software is not registered. Any thoughts? (I hope I can paste the image in here).

hmmm. drove 30 minutes after my last vagcom session. came home. 5 min later the car wouldnt start!!

Now it starts. plugged in vagcom and found:

1 Fault Found:
16706 - Engine Speed Sensor (G28): No Signal
