I have a quick question, I am getting very close to ordering a pair of new lights for my car but I am confused on one thing. I want the 6000k but I don't understand what the H1, H3, H7, H8, H9, H11 part of it is, what does that mean and what would you suggest. THANKS!

The H1, H3, H4, etc..., is the bulb type used by your vehicle. For instance, the A4 generally uses an H7 bulb for the low beams, whereas aHonda Civic, generally uses an H4.

Check your manual, or confirm with someone else on the forum who has the same model/year as you.

Most likely it is the H7. You might want to check with your manual or someone else on the forum that has an A6 just to be certain.
