unfortunately we were unable to book a group discount rate...but if you still want
to stay at the Hotel most of us are...nows the time to start booking.
we will continue to try & get a group buy discount..if it happens great..if not - no sweat,
the price is fair / competitive when compared to the other holtes in the area...

SoCal - we will be planning a meeting place for the Caravan.
* tentatively we are meeting at 9:00am on Sat the 24th
* caravan up to SLO arrive around lunchtime.


Plan of Events:

*arrive in SLO for GTG - time to meet new people, see new cars, & new mods,
snap tons of pictures & have a good time !

* lunch - head to Woodstock Pizza for some well needed R&R
for the weary travellers. (link posted below)

* site seeing - time to tour the town & site see...
(I'm sure this'll be a fav for those bringing your better halves / significant otheres. )


I'll be planning on leaving SLO Sunday morning - maybe we can schedule an informal breakfast
if anyones interested...

we're meeting at a parking structure in SLO.
PARKING STRUCTURE MEETING SPOT
** parking structure is simple to get to...
Exit is right off the 101 - MARSH st.
go down a few blocks & cross CHORRO st.
structure is immediately on the right hand side after crossing chorro. (circled in red)
Socal should arrive to SLO around noonish - Oetty will be at the structure
a little earlier for anyone running early...






however our lunch spot is w/in walking distance from the
Parking structure- so no need
to drive anywhere from there (Your'e welcome SoCal drivers )

Okay, Chef is booked.

They only showed 3 queen/queen rooms and no king rooms available online. I called and got a single king room non-smoking for $107 per night (military rate). Looks like I'm commited. How about everyone else???

I'm in... I booked online & got the queen/queen... but I'm going to call tomorrow
to see if they have any Kings available...

ok, still asking for that weekend off, i'll know for sure by the end of this week, that queen queen bed/bedroom for the Best Western, that means there's TWO queen beds in the suite right? that way i can find a roomate...
