Hey guys i got a very quick question i was wondering is it legal to have 8000k Hid lights in socal will i get pulled over for havign my lights shining blue? the reason why im asking is cause my dads already not to happy with me geting the HIDs and i dont wanna give him anymore reason to hate on my HIDs let me know if ill have a problem thanks guys

 

I am not from Cali so I don't know if it is the same. I am in MA and from what I know the legal limit here is 5000k. I am currently running 6000k and they look relatively stock so its not an issue.

 

im also in MA im running 10,000k still no problems

 

kjr, where in MA...I wanna see what the 10k look like in person. for those who are in the market for aftermarket HID's i would say that the 6000k is fairly nice. similar to many newer model cars equipped with xenons...a bit more blue, but barely noticable.
