I can bring you some articles on the GT28 turbos in our car. Eurotuner and another Mag had good articles on it. The K04 is good for 300hp, while the GT28 will produce around 400hp. Quite a big difference and the reason for my rambling about upgrading the engine components to handle the GT28. I'd guess that the K04 could run a very long time on the factory set-up.

I just had a nice long conversation with a lady that owns and loves her TDI. That was somewhat uplifting to my soul. Slowly I'm beginning to rebuild.

 

Well guys, I'll be showing up in a loaner on Sunday. My car isback at the dealer, they finally listened to me about what's wrong with it. Good thing I had security lock put in it by PureMS couple of weeks ago. They're replacing the PCV, but the part won't be in till Monday, so I went ahead and left the car there and drove the loaner home for the weekend

I can't wait to get my car though, I've been driving that thing for the past 6 months with low boost

Thanks for the offer Nam, and friends. I'm open for coming to the GTG, but waiting on my family's reply. The boy has a friend's B-Day party invite, so I'm taking a family poll now to decide. If so, then I'll shop for the cheesecake stuff later this morning. I've gotten past my crappy attitude for the most part. Half of it is just the last 2 months worth of pain that I've been dealing with from the 2 wrecks. I'm wondering how Richard is doing after that horrible wreck? Is he coming to the GTG?
