He doesn't owe me a significant amount of money but it is the point that when someone works for you, you PAY them.

3 weeks ago he contracted me to detail a vehicle for him in Manhattan Beach which we did with no problems and the owners of the vehicle loved it. He owes me $185 and he does not return any of my voicemails or emails. I've worked for him in the past and he paid, however this time he has decided to jerk me around. I know he is still alive as he responds quickly if you ask about detailing services.

I have his address which was on a personal check he wrote me and I'm to the point to visit him at "home" but haven't had the time to drive to Gardena.

that sucks.. How long has it been?
for $185.00 sucks that you cant really spend the $$ to hit up small claims, kinda pointless there.

I'd say defenitely document the Calls & e-mails you're sending though.
do u guys have any "contracts" or is it strictly verbal agreements?

 

Emails and verbal plus I have 2 witnesses that saw us detail the vehicle. I will go ahead and invoice the owner's of the vehicle now and they can deal with it.
