Isn't he selling the whole car for like 900 bucks? If so I'd pick the whole thing up.

I was thinking about buying the whole thing, but I don't want the rest of the car. There are only a few parts I'm interested in and I'm going to low ball the **** out of this guy since he's willing to sell the whole thing for 900 bucks.

I need to figure out why his engine has two "dead" cylinders (wtf does that mean?) and 3 bad coil packs before anything else though. Bad tune? Bad driver and lack of maintenance?

You guys know anything about Stratmosphere?

Matt seriously if you can buy the whole car it's worth it we need to do a compression test to find out if the cylinders are actually dead or if he is just not getting spark. Funny enough I have seen more then one person claim that the motor is toasted we buy it for 500 bucks or less and turns out all it needed was some plugs and a coil. Anyway let me know what you want to do. I know Jet has a compression tester and I can run Vag com on it to see what that pulls. Anyway I am busy on weekends until March, I do have weekedays and I can travel if that is the case. Let me know.

Ok I'll look into maybe just picking up the whole car then. I'll post details when I work something out.

Thanks for the info.

Too much talk and if you negotiate too much. He'll just say F*&^ it and not sell it to you. Or there is the off chance that someone else will pick up the car b4 you decide to.

Hasn't it been posted for awhile. You can also just buy a 1.8 block and do a motor swap, I bet it would be easy as crap in those cars. Not quite honda easy but close.

^ I concur with Doug. It was posted since the 27th of last month and like previously stated, $900 bucks is dirt cheap for that car.
