Eurojet and Dubfest 9/07/08 California, Video Contest - $500 GRAND PRIZE
found this over on vortex, and thought i'd share since some of you know how a thing or 2 about digital media *cough* jason *cough*
$500 up for grabs at dubfest in irwindale this september!
The Rules:
• The judging will be conducted by a panel of companies
including: Eurojet Racing, Dubfest media, and Revo
Technik.
• The criteria will be for overall message, video quality,
editing and use of visual/audio effects such as transitions
and background tracks etc. Company graphics and
artwork are available upon request.

• All entries must be in the form of a video, hosted on any
webspace and readily available for viewing by the public.
The winner will have to send a hard copy of the video in
some form for final review, and it will be subject to
editing to comply with any rules or laws etc.
• All entries must be between 1 minute and 3 minutes.
• The outline for the video should be a well organized, well
edited representation of Eurojet and Dubfest media. It
should depict in some interpretation VW and Audi,
Tuning, Driving, culture etc. It should be “selling” the VW
and Audi lifestyle and show scene.
• Videos MUST NOT contain any of the following:
Nudity, illicit or illegal acts, foul language or profanity of
ANY kind, any act of driving on public roads found to be
illegal or dangerous to the public, use of any trademarks or
logos not explicitly allowed by the owner, ANY type of
slander or defamation of ANY company, organization or
person.
The contest will run from August 4th to September 1st. All
entries must be submitted into the “Eurojet Racing, Dubfest
media Video contest” thread in the “Dubfest 2008” thread in
the Events section on VW Vortex.

The official video entry thread will be limited to posts including video entries ONLY.
All posters will be held responsible by vortex for any
material available by clicking on their entry link. We also
reserve the right to remove any videos found not to be within
the guidelines of the contest, or found to be in a disparaging
tone to any person, company or organization.
Ok now that all the legal jumbo is out of the way everyone get
out there and get some cool footage of your cars, your friend’s
cars, “Get Togethers” and any other shenanigans. Be Safe,
Have fun and good luck to everyone who enters.

we just need like 8 grand and we can go in on a sweet HD camera with a boom mic.....
O ya i was actually going to say that if you guys actually do put something together i can throw down a sweet track over the video.
