I Have A 2000 Audi A6 Quattro Turbo with 138,000 miles Hello help Anyone Drove My Car Bout 30 miles parked it car stared back up drove about 50 yards car stopped and would start back up interior lights come on the dash board lights come on but head and rear lights don't come on got a jump from another car it stated came on but when you take off jumper cables car just cuts off any ideas what might be the problem????

 

Maybe an Alternator problem? could be a bad battery too, I found out the hard way that if you bought the car used, the previous owner might have tried to save some money and bought a cheap, smaller battery that can't support the A6.....

at least you're not spending $4300 bucks trying to rebuild your tranny!!!! =(
