i finally saw my first r8 in action. my GF did not share in my excitement as we were driving the 101 and it flew past us in the other lane.
This is how it played out:
sitting silently in the car driving down the freeway........ i check my mirrors just like we all do to see whats going on around us.................. i seee it...............those thin sexy LED running lights gently caressing the front bumper beaming out into the world saying "are you ready for me?".................my neural functions kick in and my brain makes the connection "this is it, this is the moment you have thought about many times"..................it comes closer and closer..........i let out a small and suttle almost orgasmic"mhhhmhuhhhh".........my GF slowy turns her head with a puzzled/sickened look upon her face.............just as my mouth begins utter the pharase "R-----8"........ BOOOOM!!!! the white on black stallion gallops past with an incredible note spewing from its pipes!!!! i let out a sort ofnative american battle war cry and by now my GF is thinking about breaking up with me....... it rumbles off into the distance low and oh so fast. i turn to smile at my GF as a child does when he has just seen something very exciting...... she ignores me.

That is an awesome recounting of your R8 story ottey, I think it can be said with most of our significant others that they do not share the same drive in our cars as we do.(except team wilcox) none the less you should reinact that on video and send it to Audi for a commercial. that would be awesome.
